We are ideally located on the southern outskirts of Dublin for exploring the surrounding areas. Dublin city center is 15 minutes drive away with its many attractions.....art galleries, museums, parks, shopping malls, Temple Bar area, Grafton Street and its historic buildings and tours.

Driving south to County Wicklow "the Garden of Ireland" with its many beautiful villages, mountains and coastal beaches. Avoca, Roundwood and Enniskerry with the Powerscourt House and Gardens are some of the attractions.

Dun Laoghaire ferry port is 15 minutes drive away with its shopping malls, restaurants, and pubs.

Kilgobbin Road stretches from Sandyford village to Stepaside village, both villages have restaurants, pubs and shops.

Quince Cottage is within 5 minutes walk to Sandyford village and 20 minutes walk to Stepaside village. The 44 bus route passes outside the door and journeys to Dublin city center and to the beautiful village of Enniskerry in the other direction.

There are 17 golf courses within a 5 mile radius and numerous pitch & putt courses. Landsdowne Road rugby stadium and numerous south side rugby clubs are all within easy driving distance. If you are planning your first ski holiday and are taking skiing lessons with Ski Ireland in Kilternan on their artificial slope, we are 10 minutes drive away. For the walker there are numerous walks in the Dublin Mountains and the Wicklow Mountains. For the horse racing fan we are 5 minutes drive from Leopardstown Race Course. Horse riding available locally.
